NBA 2K12 Question

Hey, I'm not a huge basketball fan but picked up 2k12 for my PS3 because it looked interesting. Anyways, I have a question: how do I control just ONE team in Season or Association Mode(s)? I want to play through a season, but I don't want to control all 30 teams, and I don't want to mess with players or draft or anything like that, is this possible? Just, play the games of a season for one team, and let the CPU sim everything else? I've gone into both Season and Association Modes, and I just want to play through the season as the Mavs, but everytime I want to play the next game, I have to sit there and select, "sim game," for EVERY other game that's going on, and EVERY injury that happens, can I change this? Thanks for all responses in advance.

Absolutely. Selecting just one team in Association is the default option, so you must have elected to control all other teams when starting your Association game.

Aha yes! I don't know what I thought it meant by "number of players." I should've known, thank you very much and sorry for such a noob question!
