How to add teams to custom Season Mods

Postby rbpd5015 on Sun Mar 24, 2013 11:09 am

Ok here is the question. I want to take the 1993 season mod and play it in association mod.

The problem is I will have 3 teams with F no name players.

I would like to do the following

Import 3 historic teams into the mix

Like the early 80's Lakers
the 2012 Heat
the 2012 Thunder

I know that the Lakers and Heat are already in the game, so I would be fine if the roster of the Heat turned into the Vancouver Grizzlies for example.
Maybe the Thunder could be the Bobcats for example????

How do I do this??? I know its got to be possible?

JaoSming's video tutorials are probably the best place to start:

Andrew,

I got to say sorry, but that is a horrible answer? If you dont know how to do it say you dont know how to do it? I spent hours and figured it out. Should I just come in here and say I got it and leave it alone???? No I should explain what I did so I will. A page full of Tuts that have nothing to do with what I am asking is a lazy answer.

Ok guys so I wanted to play the 1993 season mod in association mode. I want to play it 3 or 4 years. However I hate how the Bobcats have no name players who are all horrible and makes the game not even fun. I wanted to see what would happen if I added this years Heat to the mix.

So I did the following

1) I started an association with the 2012 UBR asoc mod. I picked the Heat
2) Once in the season I exported the team and saved them as 2012 Heat
3) I then loaded the 1993 mod and once I did that I loaded the 2012 Heat.tmm file
4) I then re saved the 1993 mod as 1993WHeat
5) I then exited the game
6) I loaded Reeditor and I then copied all the info down Roster / Rotation / Staff etc from the heat
7) I then entered all this data into the Bobcats slot.
8) I saved the file.
9) loaded the game and started and association using the 1993WHeat Roster and BAMM it works flawless.

So thanks to me for doing the research. HAWK was 1000% worthless whenever I asked him for help and Andrew to the easy way out with a lazy ass excuse. So if you got a real question PM and I will try to help.

PEACE!
