PhotoShop help

Hey guys I am following a tut on how to make yourself or friends in the game but ran ino a few problems.

1. When I go through Nba 2k12 IE i cnt find my decompresser file so instead I just search for the png file thru my IE, will this make a difference in anything I do?

2. When I get to the photoshop part I cant open my textures in it because it says its the wrong kind of document.

I will be willing to make many people that arent in the game right now if I know what to do past this, as in I willhelp with requests

1. just open in with the mod_tool
2. you need to download Nividia DDS plugin

sorry Im new here so whats the mod tool??
& even with Nividia DDS plugin its not working, maybe a good download link please?

Okay I got the NBA 2K12 mod tool so thats great and I put a dds file on my desktop. I also downloaded " NVIDIA_DDS_plugin_for_Photoshop_CS " and I try to drag my dds file into it and it says " cannot open because its the wrong kind of document" im not sure if its because I got photoshop cs4 or if my Nividia is not working. Can I get a download link to someones that worked?

What brand graphic card do you have?

Im not using photoshop anymore, I decided to get gimp and thats working great.
