Mod Tool Launch Error

When trying to launch the mod tool i'm able to select the game version but the actual program never launches. Java is installed on my computer, all other java related programs work fine, but for some reason mod tool won't launch. When I open the control panel I see that its running in the background but it never shows up on screen, is their something wrong with my virtual machine or window manager? Here are some screen shots:

Its already set to java, I guess I will just have to install ubuntu os and use it on that.

I have had this happen to me. I don't know what exactly causes it, but I would close as many background programs as possible and make sure you have the latest java installed. If you are running 64 bit Windows, install both the 64 and 32 bit versions of java.

Yes I have windows 7 64-bit and I installed both, but I found something strange when I ran the windows batch file for mod tool. It said there's an exception (probably runtime) and it cannot load "IA 32-bit .dll" on a "MD 64-bit platform".

Weird. I just double click the NBA2KXModTool.JAR file and it runs for me. I did have problems at first. Thinking I was supposed to install the 64/32 bit java versions in a certain order, so I reinstalled them again.

I just ran into this issue after installing the 64-bit java (already had 32-bit)

reinstalling the 32-bit one fixed it for me
