Problem with Fantasy Genius

Since the patch came out, AlecZou released the 4.0 version of the Fantasy Genius. I downloaded that and it used to worked properly, but yesterday it's been f***ed up, since every time I'm trying to open the Fantasy Genius' .exe file (not the trainer01.exe or trainer02.exe, they're still working), winRAR say it cannot be run, and I can't even unrar the file, cause when the unrar process is done, I can find the .exe file anywhere.

So, what's the problem? Any suggestions are welcome!

What I wonder is how you managed to make it work in the first place.I too updated to version 4.0 and am with the patch but the rosters are not visible and my player is not updateable.Did u do anything special to make it work.(mine is in the game directory as it should be and i start it after i load the game)

P.S. Your problem is due to the fact that when you downloaded the file you selected "Open with (Winrar)".And when you do that the file is saved in TEMP folder and it's deleted after you're done using it.So you should download it again and extract it in a folder permenantly.

I tried to download it again and again, but got the same error I posted above. Anyway, to make it work go to the folder where you unpacked it - there is a file called "setting.ini. In that file, change the line: Current Version=0 to Current Version=1 and you got it working with the patched game.

btw I can't even extract the files, cause the .exe won't show up. (all the other ones are there)

Hi,
i have the same problem like the threatopener.

This programm doens`t run anymore. Always get the message that i do not got enough rights to open it.
Downloaded the file once again. Also edited the settings.ini to patch version (=1), but nothing happens.

I have readed the advices from this threat (viewtopic.php?f=143&t=83284&start=150), but i cant open the program anymore. It happend from one day to another.

If someone got a good idea, i would be happy.
