Edit Association Standings

Anyone know of a way to edit association standings?

Reditor shows a matchup table, which I thought would affect standings, but it doesn't.

2012/2013 Association Season - Cle made the playoffs because of the standings glitch. By real standings Indiana should have made it. Boston should have been 3rd seed, but ended up 6th seed. That jumbled the seeds for other teams.

The 2nd and later year standings issue is well known by now. Only chance to correct that would be for Vl@d to get around to decoding the Team Stats, which he has promised to do after finishing with the X360 version of REditor.

Until then, I'll take a look, but don't get your hopes up.

EDIT: If the split standings (such as Home-Road) are correct and you can calculate the correct record, then you may be able to edit your Association via the NBA Stats Tracker tool, but again we'll need Vlad's help in order to decode stats for Year 2 and later, since they're a mess as I explain in the tool's thread.

I'm just wondering, does this only happen if you play your games during Association? Because I just simulated my save to the end of Year 2 and all the team records summed up to 82.

I don't recall seeing it in simulated seasons. This is only in a played season playing one team's games.

Historic standings for the previous year are OK. The two teams that had glitched records for 2011-2012 show the correct records (2012-2013) when I look back at the last year's record.

I really hate something like that. Even NBA Games in 1995 did not have such glitches. I guess i start a new season , rather then play the 12/13 one.

I never noticed this in the first year so far... kills my motivation - lol

I had this glitch in 2k11 but not this one oddly enough. One extreme option is to import the 16 playoff teams into playoffs mode but that has its fair share of issues i know.

That turns an ongoing association into a playoff. The playoff history would be wrong back in the association.

As I said, since I don't expect any new fixes in the PC patch, the only thing I can imagine fixing that is decoding the Team Stats with Vlad and adding the functionality in NBA Stats Tracker. I mean, if your 1st season has glitched standings, you can probably fix it right now using NBA Stats Tracker, but it doesn't work for Year 2 and beyond currently.

Can someone send me a glitched Save so I can take a look at it with Vlad when we have the time?

I'm afraid, Standings stats are stored separately from Team Year-by-Year stats... But who knows, we'll see.

Are split standing stats shown based on the available box scores, kind of like the split player stats?

And anyway, Vl@d Zola Jr., if we can just figure out the position of each team's stats, the BASIC and MOST IMPORTANT standing stat, which is the record, is there, along with the other team stats, as I've shown. If we can't figure out the standing stats, the user will have to calculate the correct standing record themseleves, we won't be able to auto-correct it, but it'll be a start, and it's more than nothing. If the split standings are correct, they can just add Home & Away and then correct the overall record in NBA Stats Tracker, in the structure we already know, the Team Stats.

This bug exists in all 2nd year association? Can you explain with more details?

The problem is with Division rules or not? 2k11 have division rules bugs...

You use official 2k rosters or a custom rosters?

In other foruns, some guys say this problem just happend with custom rosters....no with official...
