how come 2k12 runs better on my integrated graphics card

when i play with 2k12 on my intel hd 3000 graphics the gameplay doesnt lag during fast breaks or when the shot clock ismexpiring, but when i play on my nvida 540m i get lag

Try deleting the config.cfg file from AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\Saves after switching to your nvidia card before running the game.The game should regenerate it with proper settings for your card.
