Question regarding layup

Postby volvic on Thu Feb 16, 2012 2:25 am

Does anyone know how to do a layup on the other side of the rim? For example, right handed layup on the left side of the basket or left handed layup on the right side of the basket. What I mean is when guards drive and try to go to the other side of the basket to avoid getting blocked. I've been trying to do it in practice mode and got it to work sometimes but i dont' know exactly how to do it.

Thanks.

Hold the shot stick to the left or right of the basket.

I've seen an animation like that in 2K12, but I have never been able to trigger it manually, or if I have, I didn't know what direction I pressed. As far as I know you can only choose what side to attempt a layup on using left or right on the shot stick in relation to the basket depending on the camera angle using the camera relative shot stick controls, not the actual hand you use to shoot.

Got it!!!......do eurostep lay-up at the right timing, right angle at the basket.
I stll got to get use to it though...the hard part is the getting the right angle.

I've done this with My Player 78 lay-up rating using Kobe Lay-up package.

you have to drive baseline and then press the stick in the direction of the baseline , for exemple if your attack to the right side, when your are pretty parralel to the baseline you have to press the right stick to the right
