Help: game randomly freezes during menu

My game will occasionally freeze while in I'm menu mode. I thought it was my cpu but then I install it on my laptop and the same thing happened. Anyone experiencing this and has a solution?

I have that issue when I have a bad wireless signal, the game seems to freeze at the start menu and during gameplay. How strong is your internet singal or is there something causing interuptions or other usage to internet connection, downloads, other computers, etc? I resolved mine just from blocking the nba 2k12 from internet. Let m know if that helps....
