NBA Today not updating!

Okay, I didn't know this, but now I know. The NBA 2K12 my friend installed on my computer is fake. So, no updates for me and I can't connect to the 2ksports server. So, I downloaded the Official 2K Update 12-14-12, and got the nba today.lsf and the nbatoday.iff file and replaced mine. But, unfortunately, I didn't get the updated sched. So, help? The pic above is when after I replaced the files.
