NBA 2K12 keeps Minimizing, Plz HELP!

Hey guyz im trying to play NBA 2k12 but something retarded keeps happening. When im in game after like 10 seconds the game keeps minimizing. Does anyone know how to stop this or fix it?

Just minimize? Meaning you can still click the tab in the taskbar and it resumes?

the game will only minimize like that if something behind it is trying to get your attention. I've had that issue with Origin, Chrome, Anti-Virus and Steam chats if I didn't launch the game through steam.

as shadow said, just click the game back up.....

on top of that, no one here has that issue to the extent you do. I dont know how to fix it and judging by the lack of replies, i dont think anyone else does either.

Please, email the tech support, get advice from the only people that should know more than us here.

They probably won't. I've never heard of this before, but a quick google search shows that other people have this problem with different games. There has to be some common issue outside the game.

If I were having the issue I would try to contact other people who are experiencing the same problem on the other websites.

Yea I was just testing with Combat Arms since I still had this on my computer and this problem still happens. For some reason full screen games keep minimizing!

Guy I got the problem fixed!!! I uninstalled a lot of programs like Itunes and stuff which I didnt use and it got fixed. Also I had some codec packs too uninstalled those too and got the problem fixed!

It was probably the codecs. I had a problem for two years with certain games in 5.1 where the center channel would jump to the front stereo channels and back. It turned out that it was ac3filter, and uninstalling it fixed the problem.

Worth noting in case anyone else runs into similar issues, thanks for letting us know how you resolved it. If 2K's tech support does ever get back to you, it might be worth letting them know as well so that they can advise other people having the same problem to give it a try.
