Why is my game lagging every 5 mins.. Has anyone encounter the same problem?

I don't think the problem is specs because i played 2k11 with this specs and it runs smooth.

contrary to popular belief, 2k11 =/= 2k12

try playing on lower settings and see if it still happens, check again for antivirus or some other thing that could screw up performance. It might just be an issue with the game that has to be patched too.
