is their a template to use or a way to extract the settings you have

Settings are saved in your Saves folder. Default name is settings.stg. Location is C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\Saves for Win XP. Settings can be copied from one PC to another. There are postings with a list of settings or stg files you can download.

Try Pro + Default for at least 12 mins and get ready for your mind to be blown!
