Step by step help please.

Hello everyone,
I'm just new around here & basically also a noob when it comes to patching and installing mods. I know this has been posted before but can you please help me out how to install mods in 2k12? I mean a step by step process? I hope this won't be much. I've searched even you tube & there is no tutorial for this. For starters I just recently dl'd the penny hardaway shoepack & once I dragged it in to programs/nba 2k12 folder I just don't know how to install it from there. Any help would be highly appreciated.

this is the best/only tutorial there is for this kind of stuff. For the time being, just replace "2k11" with "2k12" as mostly everything is still the same
