How to stop simulation half way in association mode?

Hi all,

I can't seem to find a way to stop simulation half way to entre to play the game. In nba live, you can stop the simulation at any quarter to play the game, but this doesn't seem to be the case for 2k12, or am I missing something? Anybody care to shade some lights?

I don't think 2K12 (or even 2K11) has that same "interfere simulation" option that NBA Live had. But I'm not sure cause I haven't touched the association mode yet.

It's not available in the 2K series. It has never been and I don't think it'll ever be.

The ability exists in the game, but it can't be accessed for Association.

Myplayer and creating a legend mode both allow simulating when the controlled player is on the bench.

If that could somehow be enabled for Association or exhibition or season games, you'd have your wish.

Oh, that's pretty sad, because if all you want to play is just 5 mins of each game then this won't do. And if you play 5 mins each quarter for the entire game then your players will get very minimal stats. Why don't they just add that option with such a nice game.

Btw, just a quick question, does anybody know how many seasons can you play with the association and My Player mode? This is my first time playing 2k12, never touch the 2k series before, been playing live 07 all the while

Would be a great feature request for a patch or NBA2K13. I loved to play only the fourth quarter in NBA Live. In the end I want to sim for 12 mins per quarter, but I just don't have the time to do so.
