My2K VS 2K10,2K11 online account

Just a little puzzled here.. Is the My2K account different from the account I was using since 2K10? I'm just not sure whether or not to login using the old account (2K10-2K11) or make a new one. I can't check right now since the 2K servers isn't working right now. TIA!

This is wrong. I have been trying to do this assuming the servers were down the whole time. I registered a new one and it worked fine. So, you can't link your old account.

Is that true? It shows a linking option, but it doesn't work, shows that "servers are down". So, servers are not down, it's just a glitch? Damn....

That's why I quoted myself. I assumed you could link your old 2k community account, but you can't.
