TRAINING CAMP HELP THREAD

Hi all,
So I JUST got my NBA2k12 (PC) not 2 hours ago and I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

But when I do the training camp I'm stuck at the off-ball offense. During the individual move tutorials I succeeded in doing each one. But during the test (you know, the final part after Larry taught Phra...I mean Ray, all the off-ball moves and then Ray had to get open using those moves and score) I ran into a problem.
No matter what I do, for the life of me I can't satisfy that blond bastard . I do the juke moves, got open again and again and whenever I call for a pass and got it, it says "Failure". WTH. I've been redoing this test for like 5 times now. Can anyone help?

So anyway, since I noticed that there's no Training Camp questions/help thread , I thought I might as well start one, while presenting the first question at the same time

For me it was very simple. You simply get open with the right stick and score. Maybe you should try on a lower difficulty

Ah, I've solved it! But that's strange, Sportsgamer . Getting open with the right stick was PRECISELY the thing that I've been doing wrong. Apparently you have to use the LEFT stick (whilst holding the RB of course) to get open. I forgot that about the early individual lessons .
When you use the left stick to juke, even if you're not open after you receive a pass it will still count as a success (as opposed to being completely open when using the right stick, which still got me 'failure' marks). Weird.
Anyway, if anyone else is having problems with training camp, feel free to ask it here. I can probably help since now I've finished them all.

Hello, i'm new to the NBA 2k series, and i began the training camp, but i'm stuck in the Passing and Offense section, in the send team mate on cut, when I press LB ( i'm on PC with a xbox 360 controller ) to bring positional plays, there are no icons above the heads of my team mates, so i can't choose which player ro send on cut, I tried with random buttons, but it still doesn't work,and I tried that with keyboard too, but still no success, can someone help me please ? thanks

Right after I read your post I fired the game on, tried it myself and it worked fine, joystick0406. And I'm also on PC with xbox360 controller, so I don't know what's wrong in your case. The only possible causes I can think of is that you either changed the configuration of the buttons for some reason so that LB isn't assigned its original function anymore, or you're not experienced with an x360 stick and somehow confuses LB (left bumper) with LT (left trigger), which is a common mistake. (By the way, I mean no disrespect with that, just throwing that out there because I don't know your situation)

Don't worry, thanks for your reply, but i am experienced with the 360 controller, i passed the training camp, but i did that step using tab to show the icons, not LB.

I have still problems with off ball offense. I can't get open with jukes and other stuffs, and it says always ''FAILURE''. Can anyone help me please?

I have a problem with the behind the back drill on PC. How did you guys get through those?

That one held me up too. It's pretty finnicky about the stick movement, I just had to do it again and again and eventually I got it down.
