Custom Sliders for My Player, No CPU Trades

I've started a new My Player, irritated by the cpu's ai trade logic, until I found this.

So, do I have to open cheat engine and set the trade value to 0 every time I open nba2k12?

Hi, I have this problem with my player mode. The games that my team plays scoring is very high.. i mean my team scores more than 100 points on 6 min quater length. Then i am in the court it seems normal.. but then the team sits me down on the bench simulation makes the score unrealistic.. And other teams (cpu vs. cpu) scores ~40-50 points a game. Is there a slider that could lower my teams scoring or maybe help cpu teams score more? I already used Cheat engine to turn off cpu trades, so maybe there is a code for fixing this scoring problem?

Mine is working fine. Maybe you're doing something wrong?? and don't forget to put values on the Height and Weight address, or just tick them off when playing My Player.

Obviously the game sliders need to be downloaded from the first page first, and then you need to open them in Cheat Engine.

It looks like your computer/laptop is a pile of bullshit because the only reason why the game would run slow is a performance issue. This has NOTHING to do with the cheats/sliders. You might have changed something that causes your game to crash, but that's all to your own wrong doings so perhaps you should look in the mirror and start calling yourself names instead of getting pissed off at someone who has helped us and this game a GREAT deal.

That question got answered at the very post above your first post. No. Once your MyPlayer saves, everything that you have changed (Trades, sliders, playing minutes etc.) saves with it.

I have a request. One that actually makes sense, even if you are not cheating.

In my player mode in 2k12, it appears you can not increase the "Shoot of Dribble" rating. Even after increasing all abilities, it remains at a lowly 70.

This is one thing even an honest my player would want to remedy.

Is there any way to get an ADDRESS IN CHEAT ENGINE to change this damn stat? I hate having all my ratings almost at max (95-99) yet my SOD remains at 70.

A hopeful BUMP on this.

Also, is there anyway to change the shot clock? I'm so sick and tired of playing the CPU when all they do is sit there for 22 seconds and then jack up a miracle shot that usually goes in. Pretty boring since I usually get off a good shot within about 10 seconds, then I am just standing around for 22 waiting for the CPU to shoot. So for over 2/3 of the time playing I am just waiting.

I would LOVE to set the shot clock at 12 or 16 seconds. Would make the game a hell of a lot more fun.

Have you tried looking at your game speed slider (i think default setting=0.5 so lower can cause slow motion) in the cheat engine before getting all http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kn18H3FKDV4 ? (and yes, I did just use a youtube video as an adjective )

What I usually do is I start pushing back the ball handler. I've noticed that after doing this once or twice, the CPU passes the ball and they actually get quick shots off quite a few times. The only risk is that when you play a Superstar PG for example, they tend to spin and explode past you to the basket for an easy lay-up.

I'm really curious, is there a way to edit the coach profiles in myplayer? I thought I'd ask here, seeing where this is where the majority of myplayers post/read. Do I need to just set the coach profiles then go into myplayer? Or is there a code? Thanks in advance

from what ive experienced the profiles changed in the main MY NBA menu affects the myplayer instances as well

Thank you for giving us what 2k seems not willing to hand out! This is the reason why I would prefer a pc version of a game over a console one any day! Just hoping that those who are playing this game on console will find similiar ways of solving the inherent game flaws, or do they have it already?

Anyway, thank you very very much. Now I actually can enjoy the game instead of rage-quiting every second game. ^^

Edit: Btw, is using TSearch/ CheatEngine considered as a hack on the part of 2k? Just wondering, because if it is not then I would give a little shout out to the official 2k forum since there a probably a lot of pre patch pc players just hating the game right now.

I cant get the fouls to work. I want to turn off fouls, especially the Reaching.

Ive tried to find it in the other posts, and ive only found out that you have to "freeze" the value.

So ive tried to set the "(User foul) Reaching foul frequency" to 0, but i cant find any button or option to "freeze" the value? Or am i just dumb? There is a check box to the left, which turns into a red X when i click it. Is that it? Because it doesnt work.

Make sure that 2k12 is running first. It won't show it if it's not on.

On other question : I've modified trade value to 0 and now my windows is closen sometimes during animations between quarters. Does someone have the same problem ? I'm a little affraid that my game is "lost" Thanks.

With the correct addresses, you can edit all the sliders. This tool seems to do a bunch of them.

I'm assuming 1 means increase it one click, and -1 means decrease it one click. Usually, +1 moves it to the right, and -1 moves it to the left. So, that's what I'd assume (but don't quote me ... might be best asked in a slider forum, as I'm just guessing here.

As far as play-calling, I would recommend changing the team's playbook, if that is at all possible for you, such that Chris Paul has a lot of plays for pick-n-roll with the Power Forward, and Blake Griffin has a lot of plays for pick-n-roll with Chris Paul. Furthermore, I would edit Blake's set pick tendency to really high, and Paul's use pick tendency to really high. Also, edit his driving tendency (if possible), but give him a high rating for passing off, so he passes out of his drives more often, to open players.

To my knowledge, players other than point guard can't call a play. (I heard they could call a play, if they grabbed the ball first, but I'm not even sure about that.)

Sadly, unless i restart my MYPLAER mode, can't think of a way to edit tendancies of other players or team playbooks .

Also, i thought turning on Offense/defense PlayCalling might work, but i guess it only works with PGs.

If anyone has a tip using a mod/cheat I'd really appreciate it.
