Buy 12 or stick with 11? (PC modding)

2K11 of course has tons of things the modding community did but I am hearing that 2K12 is going to take a while to mod due to reditor II and iff editor might not work with this new title so we have to start over from scratch. Wonder if I should wait and keep playing 2k11 or if the new game is a good bit better and go ahead and start playing that instead?

I know there is a lot of complaints but 2k12 is by far better for me anyways I love the feel of the movements and all the new tricks

2k12 seems to be so much better, just the feel of the gameplay is much more...realistic? fluid? i can't think of the word but it's definitely better imo. I do hope the modding community can pick this game up and mod it quickly, as I really miss the cyberfaces/tattoos on my myplayer But to answer your question, I would get nba2k12 asap.

The game has only just come out. If the availability of mods and the appropriate tools is your only concern, I'm sure the situation will be remedied in the not too distant future.

I'll still get it for the PC seeing how gameplay is mostly the same as the console. I bet the whole iff thing is going to be fixed soon.

Jerseys apparently are able to be modded, so I think it's worth getting, seeing as well that there haven't been too many glitches yet and the gameplay is improved. I have to wait till the 7th, but it's a good purchase.

There's no comparison in the game play. 2K12 is head and shoulders better. 2K made a lot of improvements. Buy 2K12. It's more fun. People will soon make mods for the looks.

2K12 is much deeper gameplay wise. Get it.

So I wonder if I should DL the steam version or go buy the PC cd? How long would it take to buy the game on steam and have it download?

Depends on your connection speed. Minutes to buy if that, the faster your connection the faster you'll be able to complete the download.

I'm considering buying the Steam version, seeing how almost every Canadian retailer I check doesn't have the game. But yet again, I can get it from Amazon US too.
