Is online in low graphics?

Same online performance as 2k11?

Yes.

Yes it is, forced low quality,

I don't know if these were specific to me but I couldn't choose alternate jerseys and the game ran at half speed and was locked at 15fps. Yes, I ran the benchmark before trying.

dammit benji...

Wow, this is borderline inexcusable. also extremely confounding.
I'm glad I play mainly offline, but still, this is a MAJOR oversight.

Sigh...

Borderline??????? Borderline??????? man it's deeper than that, in 4 years that i've watched this game develop into a decent game built for offline.

i'm seeing though alot of trends going on, as much as i love modding, this is why i feel i'm being pushed towards a ps3, because of the nature that these dev's are taking, being for me i'm mainly a sports, and fps gamer with the occasional rpg, most the games id like to play are not on pc, and when i see devs doing this kind of mess after supporting them...well it just doesn't leave a good vibe yo, you don't here about many sports, fps's or rpg's with online probs etc on the ps3, i know all games have there flaws and all systems but at least id be able to get patches etc in a timely manor, well ima end my lil rant about this game, i'll say one thing though, before i spend the $, now that i know what this year has to offer i might hold off & and see what the patch brings, seems like all we got is a upgrade 2k11 in a half.....I had really high hopes for this years title, and i feel they drop the ball this year and maybe final for me.

Chances are I stop buying before I go console. Association and retro mods are the two most important things to me, but I don't doubt that I'd be heavily inclined to play more online if 2K didn't make it such an awful experience for PC users. I'm sure there's a good number of other players who share that sentiment, and that's probably the main reason there is such a complete lack of an online community for NBA 2K on PC.

i can dig it lhead, on the buying part, but for me i'll always love the oldschool classics mods, association is cool but its not on my top to do things in this game, i'm glad i did not delete my - 1997 and 1992 mod, i tell you that much...

I've hit the twittersphere trying to get a reaction from devs. we'll see how it goes, but I wouldn't hold my breath...

This links to a thread regarding these issues on OS : http://bit.ly/qXUtmg

Go to twitter and tweet it to @Ronnie2K , @2ksports , @Beluba , @LD2K

Maybe enough pressure will lead to something.

I tagged mine with #NBA@K12PC #SMH

If it worked on NBA 2K10 what did 2K11/2K12 go wrong?

Re: Is online in low graphics?

It didn't really work all that well in 2K10, the online framerate was terrible. What they tried to do it seems is make it so the benchmark would use the best setting for a good framerate for the player, but this has never worked so everyone is set to the lowest setting by default.

And the framerate still sucks.
