Here are some settings you will find useful as a reference to 2K12 from 2k11:

After a clean install of windows 7 64 and only AV running on a T9600 at 2.8 GHZ (although speedstep keeps it at 3.1) 4GB DDR2 and a GT 240m on these settings with LAST YEARS GAME and D3Doverrider 2.01 on these settings:

For fluid game play at 56FPS with a low of 43 during cut scenes.

Don't waste your $200 on notepad, you can get third party programs for free that work just as well.

What you really need is to send me $500 for a game that's even better than 2K. It's a fantastic simulation of a solo card game. Man, do you guys need to see the animation when you win. It will blow your mind.

Don't send the guy $200 for notepad. I have developed a superior program called wordpad. It's available for only $100, + $20 for digital shipping.

I was hoping to get more pc hardware related comments, like your system ran 2k11 well but 2k12 requires a quad core etc.

Im going to make a new thread for that. Have fun messing with the ignorant gamers.

Are you sure Clothlogic is supposed to be 2, 1, -1, -1? I remember adjusting this so that all 4 of my cores would be able to process this. I'm not sure if it had any effect at all on the FPS, but it felt smoother to me. Maybe placebo effect?

Why leave it on default?playerlod=3 gives superior player models. Also sidelinecharacters does the same at value 2.Cloth for quads must be 1,2,3,4.

It's basically the values for the video settings in the game. It's not some sort of secret fix. You can change it in the game itself. :?

Nope. You are wrong.Setting ingame the player details on high is the value 0 in config.cfg.By setting the value to 3 you bypass that and get the very high setting that was present on 2k9.Same applies with sideline characters with the difference of values. To make use of 4 cores it's obvious that you need the 1,2,3,4 sequence.

Try using a value of -1 for player details see if it's the same as value 3.

The funny thing is, I've looked through the files of the last few games before with the 2kmod tool and dont remember having seen any high res player models. You are going to have to provide screen shots to prove this.
