Did any of notice the way the backboard and stand moved on the failed dunk? Did anybody notice the roll pass at the end?

You could do that last year.
Why is Clark Kellogg still on commentary?

great stuff
anyone else notice the electronic dornas instead of the old school scrolling ones?
the whole backboard bent a bit more than it should have when Griffin hung on the rim, but it still looked nice
the sprinting animations look amazing
still some hiccups but nothing that ruined anything IMO.

I'm having NBA Live flashbacks with Steve Kerr in the commentary

They don't look any different, though. They just don't scroll.
Also at the start, they had Garnett screaming into the camera on the scoreboard above center court, instead of just the logo like last year.

that is the same as last year's scoreboard presentation

Gameplay looks more crisp, the roll was very nice, i never seen it in the game last year as somebody stated you could unless I just didn't know how. Overall pleased with the gameplay and can't wait to play.

Left Trigger and A is Give n Go
LB (holding) is to call for a screen

I'm talking about the rolling inbound pass to keep the clock stopped, not anything in live play. Pretty sure that's what puddnhead was talking about.

I swear man I saw this in my game before, I'm using European version of the game, it's not always came out but at certain games, I don't recall against which teams, and it made me hyped to see that presentation the first time in 2K11, you don't believe me it's up to you, maybe other gamers seen this before..

Yup.. The "Garnett screaming" thing was in last year's game..
Fri Sep 16, 2011 2:24 am
I just checked. Didn't see it. No idea what you two are talking about.
Fri Sep 16, 2011 2:47 am
I think it has the same case as "Player of the Game" presentation where in European version we get to see black background, but in US version, instead of black background, we can see "freezed" scene of the players going back to the locker room after the game ends, please don't ban me for posting this

Liking the dribble animations and the halos for stamina and hotspots, and three commentators.
Fri Sep 16, 2011 2:54 am

This vid looks amazing! Nba 2k12 has fantastic gameplay and... this year we will see animations improved! These looks so realistic, from bouncing and walking to passes animations... Great job 2k!

Lots of good things in there such as Griffen's layup near the end of the quarter and the Clippers, who appeared under CPU control, pushing the ball on their first possession. Around 1:40 Griffen spins off a double team, finds himself boxed in by the two defenders, then stumbles back for a layup. That's pretty good.
Commentary seems like it's a turn down the volume feature again this year. Hearing stories like "the celtics went smaller this year" 5 or 10 years into an association, where it no longer applies, is hard to hear. 5:10 "Here's Rondo" - Rondo passes to Ray Allen - as Ray shoots "he's looking for his first points of the game" (referring to Rondo) - doesn't sound like a commentator watching the game and talking about the action on the court. It sounds like an audio launched by a certain animation or situation, playing out to completion regardless of the action on the court.
There were times Griffen received the ball, made a few jabs, but passed away as if he were a plodding big man. Where's the ROY Griffen who goes strong to the basket for a dunk?
Overall the Clippers didn't push the ball after that first possession.

damnit. I told myself I wouldn't do this, but....I CAN'T WAIT!
