Blacktop Mode could still be in the game, just not available on that screen.

Most likely the screenshot was taken on an Xbox 360 that's defaulted to factory settings with the launch date, or something like that. Presumably if your system is up to date, you'll see the correct date in the menu.

That seems to confirm that Build a Dynasty isn't a new mode, but that preview the other week was simply poorly phrased.

I'm diggin this, And I don't think blacktop would be anywhere else though.. it would be displayed with all the other Modes though, still, no way of knowing for sure.

where's practice mode? Playoffs? Situation? Roster Management?

there is going to be a "right stick" menu again that will let you choose more options, but that is one hell of a "play now" opening screen

Very Metro UI ala Windows Phone 7. Was wondering when games were going to start ripping it off. Looks good.

Theres got to be another set of tiles, with option, season, situation, black top, etc as pointed out earlier. Theres no point in taking out blacktop, it most likely just hasnt been changed.

According to Ronnie, they didn't get a copy.

BTW The Game, Snoop, etc. weren't given a build of 2K12. They simply got a quick hands on yesterday.
