I haven't understood a thing.
There are only 15 players with 15 teams, or in NBA 2k12 will be rivals, like Jordan Challenge?
Example: If there's O'neal's Lakers are '00 pacers, or '01 sixers/blazers included in game

The point of the mode is that you recreate historic games, as in the Jordan Challenge. Therefore, there will be at least 30 classic teams in the game: the teams of the fifteen featured players and each of their opponents.

wow really 30 that will make retro modding a lot easier

Exactly. Or as JaoSming pointed out in another thread, a ready made classic teams Association mode out of the box.
