Countdown to NBA 2K12

Some of you may be familiar with the game from our previous years doing it for NBA Live. Basically, we count down the days to the release of the game with pictures of players whose jersey number represents the amount of days remaining. There's really only one important rule to remember: one player per person, per day. So in other words, when there's 33 days remaining and you post a picture of Larry Bird, someone else gets to post Scottie Pippen, someone else gets to post Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and so on.

We also encourage creativity on the days with no jersey numbers; players from foreign leagues are certainly welcome to fill in the gaps wherever possible, as is creating players in-game and taking a screenshot of them wearing their jersey number (if you can't find any photos of them wearing that jersey number online). Pictures of trading cards are also fine. The game is a little tough until we're around the number 55 so again, by all means be creative in the early going.

That's the general premise but like I said, creativity is certainly allowed especially while we're out of range of common NBA jersey numbers. In this case, one might post a photo of the 1995 NBA Champion Houston Rockets.

Awesome idea as always. Though I'd prefer not to use additions like the Dirk and Grant thing. No dis to Mavs4Life.
I just think it's better seeing the actual number. The Rondo and Garnett and Deng and Boozer are good because you actually see the number of days. My two cents.

I agree that the Rondo/Garnett and Deng/Boozer examples do look better and that's what I'd favour but at this point of the game, the addition method is certainly acceptable and creative in its own way.
