Thanks JM. I will be enjoying My Player mode this year really the way I want. I'm so glad that I got 2K12 on PC for the first time this year. Great stuff (Y)

Well I have a quick question for anyone who can help:

So far I was able to apply sliders using [Cheat Engine] Sliders.CT
Also I am now able to adjust quarter length with the [Cheat Engine] gameplay+coaching+other.CT.

But I'm still struggling with player height adjustment, . JM provided fields in Cheat Engine where I can enter height and weight value. I entered desired numbers in proper unit and locked it but height and weight change didn't happen for me. I tried this before loading My player and also tried it once My player was loaded. Neither is working out for me.

Can you tell me what am I doing wrong here?

Please, can you just do tendencies and attributes as well? And just let each individual decide their game experience. They don't have to change the attributes if they don't want, but the option would be nice.

I believe if you apply it once and save your My Player progress it's good. I tested this by jacking up 3 pointer to 100. I saved my progress then I exited cheat engine. Later I loaded My Player and I was able to make 4 straight 3 pointers.

The no CPU trades value is not working for me.. Do I have to freeze it before I start a my player career? Dwight Howard keeps getting traded for LBJ, while the value is frozen at 0. Any suggestions? All the other sliders work perfectly.

Edit your My Player, go to where you change your height and weight and then change the values in Cheat Engine.

Can anyone find out how to change the rules in my player. I'm terrible with cheat engine.

I want to disable the 3 second rule because the AI often just stands still not passing or shooting the ball, which results in a turnover, which in turn gets blamed on me for some reason.
My teammate grade suffers alot from this, and I get several turnovers per game, when I should really have 0.

Damn 2K can't be bothered to fix their broken game, so we have to do shit like this.

Ive been searching for the address that controls My Player Playstyle. I found the address 01401238 and it seems to be working. Here are the values for SG
1313XX where XX = last 2 digits
All Around 39
Slashing 38
Athletic 37
3pt 36
Defensive 35
Scoring 34

In order to find the values at other positions create a new MP player and goto the screen where you change playstyles. note the value for the one you want.
Then during your real my player goto the My player Edit screen and find the window for Attributes. The value wont be near what the starting one is, but dont worry change it anyway to the one you found during the test. Change it and save. Then when you go back to the "MP edit screen attributes" you will notice the value is near what it originally was minus the offset from your original playstyle. To be sure go check out how much your skill points now cost to make sure the changed worked.

I started out 3pt specialist and then change to AA and my shot inside cost significantly dropped and my 3pt cost increased.

What you think :?:

The retarded trades seems to happen only when you use Play Next Key Game feature (i.e. while simming). So what I do is that I leave trading enabled for about 2 weeks at start of season, and play every game, and the same thing for the last 2 weeks before deadline.

That way you get some trading action, but not the complete roster rebuilds you'd otherwise get.

I would love the values to edit tendencies though, because like last year, they are absolutely bonkers, and especially ruins simulating games.

My Athletic PG has a 0 dunk tendency. Really, 2K?

I changed the 3pt shot, inside shot and medium shot game sliders, but how I can change it back to default? Because when it's like 53, i make every shot, when I change it back to 0, like it was before I changed it to 53, I don't make any of the shots.

If you want to change your My Player sliders; Load up the slider cheat, load your sliders from the main menu in 2k12, freeze the values in Cheat Engine (Or what you might use) and load your MyPlayer.

You don't have to freeze the values if you use the other cheats (Trades, injures etc.) because once your MyPlayer saves, those settings are also saved.

0 = Disable
1 = Enable

The game isn't broken, turn on Full Playvision, and enable it for all plays. You're not in your spot, thus breaking the play. That's the only thing I've ever seen doing this.

Hey guys, would any of you know the memory address to control where you get drafted? I found an address and it would be at 6, when I got drafted 6th, and 7 when i got drafted 7th. I tried changing it to 5, but I still got drafted 6th. Maybe you can't get drafted in the Top 5, or maybe I am just looking at the wrong memory address. I REALLY WANT TO GET DRAFTED BY RAPTORS! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!

It's broken alright, but thanks for the advice, it helped a little bit.

Still doesn't make any sense that I would be blamed for the turnover, and sometimes I just can't get to my spot because of invisible walls. :|
So the teammate who has the ball is suddenly turned into a brainless monkey that can't do anything because I'm not standing exactly where I'm supposed to be. Makes sense.
