yes, u must have steam playing in the background....u can also do offline mode in steam if u don't have internet!

Only if you get it via Steam, as far as I know. As is the case with all games purchased through Steam.

I'm downloading the game via steam right now. Also cancelled my amazon pre order for the international version. I'll keep an eye on the price for PS3 version. It seems at least worth a try this year...

Got mine on Steam about 30 mins ago

Played a bit, smooth as silk... but then with a pair of 580GTX cards running in SLI, I should be able to crank it all the way

Funnily enough its available now on UK Steam... so got it there, 25 quid, bit pricey but there you go.

Considering getting the Steam version, but the Aussie Steam store lists at $49.99 USD, so there's no saving over buying a copy from my local store. I also still like having physical copies for my "collection", so I'll make a few more enquiries of my local stores today, see if anyone's willing to break the street date after all.

yes there does seem to be some differences between the international version of the game and the US version again.
