Um, no, that's completely and utterly wrong. He said when we reach 55 days remaining, we should stop posting combinations and additions because from 55 onwards, those are common jersey numbers and we can find pictures of players who wore them, which is the intention of the game. We just allow a little creativity before 55 days are left because those aren't common jersey numbers, making the game a bit difficult.

Why would we stop a Forum game intended to count down to the release with 55 days remaining? That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. So no, the thread will not be locked, that was never our intention. Clearly you misunderstood or misread Jon's post.

To reiterate to everyone: Once we hit 55 days remaining - that's tomorrow - there are a lot more players wearing the jersey numbers to go around. All other methods are unnecessary and should be used sparingly, preferably when all available examples have already been posted. In other words, avoid doing it from now on; stick to actual jersey numbers. Thanks.

No, it shows 56. The #33 in the background is irrelevant because the featured player's jersey matches the number of days remaining, so it's not invoking the addition method.

The sooner everyone puts addition out of their minds, the better. That was never the intention of the game, just something we allowed when numbers were hard to come by.
