I also noticed that they changed Rubio's jump shot. If I remember correctly, it was jump shot 1, now it's Melo's shot base.

Was the only changed rating i saw. Paul George, whos shooting over 50% from 3 still is under 80. Also he is to small in the game. Demar Derozan still got a 43 3pt.....and no 2k insider to flame at.
I'm a Rubio fan but think it's ridiculous to have his 3pt rating that high. I'd rate him a 70, meanwhile if you leave him wide open & he's having a good shooting game, he'll hit. Contested or not a good shooting game, he'll miss.
Best thing to do is don't use official 2K rosters.

how to get this 2k roster update?
Sun Jan 22, 2012 1:37 am
The 2k server has been down to me for like a week now and because of that I can't get the roster update to my new installed 2k12.

Oh man, that Rubio 3pt rating will look bad when he finishes the season at like 28% after giving up on them halfway through the season. I don't know who does the ratings for 2K, but its as if they have a child making them. Hopefully now having all the rookies, Rashidi will convert his rosters to having 2K's rookies, and we no longer need to suffer the tyranny of Jonny Flynn and Mo Evans being rated higher than DeAndre Jordan.

Is there any sure fire way to get the rosters? I've tried the reset rosters option as well as deleting the rosters entirely and I still have the 2nd to last update i.e. Mike Miller still hurt, Mullens still a 40 ovr etc.
Sun Jan 22, 2012 8:45 pm
sure fire way is to wait. just leave the game on, maybe play a quick game, and just leave it for 5-10 minutes, then try the reset roster thing. It gives it time to download all of the updates.
On consoles there is a useful "Downloading Updates" thing in the bottom right corner that the PC doesnt get.

Ah, that makes perfect sense. I remember that now. Thanks for the tip Jao.

Yessss they did I am so happy for that!!! I checked it.
But I am a little bit frustrated from the tenth update, they forget many players again. I dont care if they have generic cyberface or not. Because of injuries NBA teams sign players that dont exist in 2ks roster. They keep have injured players in first 12players team. How can Randolph or tj Ford, who are injured, be a substitute?

It downloads automatically, though as Jon mentioned you sometimes have to wait. Then reset the roster under the Options menu (doing this twice usually does the trick) and the new rosters will be loaded.

Note from Ronnie:
There will be another roster update before the end of weekend & it will reflect in OA. OA rosters should be inline w/ regular going forward

Well the 2Kinsider says
NBA 2K Insider
The next roster update will go live within 12 hours. It will include a work around for the starting lineup issue.
What was the starting lineup issue? And why do the official updates need work arounds?

Does someone knew how to remove the shoes that 2K assigned on the players? Like Odom and Carter? Pshoe assignments are not working on certain players...

Eleventh update is out now. No new players from the looks of things, but rotations have been updated and all players have been marked as uninjured...presumably for the benefit of Online Association.

Finally, commentators are now saying Metta World Peace!
Sun Jan 29, 2012 5:35 am
Probably because of "patchableaudio.iff".
Does anybody know what the "lines" lines_cs", "lines_ps" and "lines_ts" do? They were updated as well.
Sun Jan 29, 2012 5:41 am
