NBA 2K12 PC Patch Out Now

if you rename your folder to nba 2k12 the patch installer will install the files to nba2k12 by default

so therefore it is possible to extract the files from the installer this way you can see which mods

you need to re install and what is changed in 1.0.1 sry for posting in wrong spot before




the files mostly say modified 12/1/11 so they had the patch done by then
took that long to release nba2k12.exe was changed 1/26/12

found a bug in teh patch... either that or i'm bad and i'm doing something wrong.

anyway, when the patch came out i did a fresh install and redid my rosters and of course saved them. for some reason when you launch 2k12 now, it will say on the loading screen that the rosters are being loaded, but when you get into the game menus, all of the rosters are reset to game defaults. so every time i fire up the game now i have to manually load my rosters.

That's correct. Just one more problem with this patch. Shame...

I use patch global and now, change for my old global again...in two situations, no rookie arms problem here...

U guys try another rosters? It´s not make sense, but try it!

So does anyone actually know if there's an actual reason as to why 2k doesn't want you to play a quick online match with a friend on the PC?

I thought they would enable it in this patch, but for some reason it's impossible to do on the platform that should make online play pretty simple... Kind of disappointed.

I guess it is sure to being tied in with xbox accounts and psn accounts. There is no interface on the pc with friends that they tapped in to. On my profile on the website, it shows my 360 friends, but I have barely touched that version.

before patch some guys were yelling 2k because they didn't release a patch for PC, now when 2k release it the same guys are yelling because they don't like the patch. Guys play an EA's game to calm down. I installed the patch and I haven't had any problem so far. The gameplay is more difficult now, the cpu plays better defense. I usually used the 2k's simulation sliders with an adjustment on rebounds sliders (I want more offensive rebounds). I notice that the 2k's simulation sliders have changed, so maybe you have to change your previous sliders. I play two games so far with my old sliders I lost 17 points but with new 2k's simulation sliders I won by 8. But the offensive rebounds are still too little (not realistic) and I will surely change this the slider.

how come my player didn't start for the all star game even though he was leading the fan vote? only played like 12 minutes at the all star game and i also read this glitch messes up my player's minutes in the regular season games after the all star game...

why wasn't an annoying bug like this fixed?

I made a mistake of installing the wrong patch version to my NBA.

I thought my NBA2k is EU version . It was too late to find out that it is North Am.
It says insert DVD NBA 2k EU ...

I ended up reinstalling everything. So much for the Patches and Mods.

only issue i have with this patch is that it doesnt load your roster at the beginning, it always load the default ones so I have to manually load my roster every time. Other than that..everything is good to go. Any1 else having this issue with roster not loading?

If I remember correctly, you had to manually load your rosters anyway. It's always been like that.

Yeah, unsure which version to use with the amazon digital download. I know you have to be in the US/NA to download it from Amazon, does this mean I can use that US/NA DVD patch?

If I remember correctly, you had to manually load your rosters anyway. It's always been like that.

nope...before i just renamed Albys roster to Roster.ROS, and it auto loads it everytime..been doing this since 2k11 so..i dont think u ever had to manually load your roster til now.

where do u live,where did u buy it from, are u 100% sure its a real copy.

Only way i know of to tell what version u have is look at your courts ingame if they have small logos on the side of courts inside 3point line without using courts logo tool u have US version.
If theres no small logos there u have EU version.

I didn't install the patch. I was wondering if I can still use the post-patched mods to my vanilla nba 2k12? Or even just use the patched .exe. I don't want to apply all those patched files coz I got a lot of mods installed. All I'm really looking for is the gameplay fix
