Final NBA 2K12 Official Roster Update Available Now

hi guys, when i downloaded the nba 2k12 official roster (2012.01.07) and the official online data still the shoes for kobe bryant are generic and the others as well. why is dat?

There are 3 online data updates: first one (no date) 23th of december and 25th of december. Maybe that's the issue.

i know they make a minors but they cant use real players cause those players are not members of the minor leagues thats why if a guy who has never played in the majors wont be in the game. i just wondered if this is why 2k doesnt use real D leaguers

It's quite possible. Also, comparing those aspects of the NBA and MLB titles is to compare apples and oranges. Different leagues, different collective bargaining agreements, different rules when it comes to licensing and likeness rights for video games.

what online data should i use? so that it will be fixed.

also when i play the oklohoma thunder as the visiting team, the shoes that their wearing are for their home game the light one not in their away game the dark ones. why is that?

download all 3, start with installing the first one, then 23, then 25. So you end up with the most recent one.

i just have copied the official data 25 into the online data folder, still nothing happens. i also tried all online data. btw, its copying files not installing it.

You have to copy the official data 1, 2 and 3 (in this order) in your main directory map. It will replace some files.
And you are using official rosters I presume?

Official Data= Roster Updates?

No, the roster updates includes: roster file and 2 more files. Those three should be in the saves folder.
The official online data should be put in the main directory file, overwriting some stuff, and in chronological order, just to make sure you've got everything. Online data unlocks for example Kobe's Christmas Day shoes.

I just click reset roster now just to see if there's a new roster update out, and looking at it I notice a lot of injured players, is it just me or is this the 10th roster update?

i want to ask another question, when i play dallas and use their christmas jersey, suddenly the game just turned black and a few seconds it will be normal again. is it because of the christmas jersey coz' when i used regular jersey it doesn't happen.

I have the same problem, they appear injured, but when you click for more details, no injury is showing. Also, they do appear in-game, looking fine.

I don't have christmas jerseys, they are white in my game, so I wouldn't know. Haven't looked to fix this yet.

I m new here and i have a proble with the automatic uptade (pc)
Last years when i was starting the game , an auto-update was happened to scheldules and to the rosters and player stats
Now my last update happened in 31 DEC , i have tried a lot of times to find what is going on but couldnt.
So in 31 DEC i re-istalled 2k12 and magically auto-update done!!!
Now after 15 days No update occured !!! What is gonig on??? I bought this game because i though that roster-individuals players stats and team overall skills will change week to week , as it really happens in NBA league!!! For example OKC and Bulls are the best teams in the league (at least for now) but in the game not!!!
What do you do for this??? How you get it fixed?? Does every body has the same proble3m as i have??? Does 2k drop it ????

Reset Roster and then you have an updated roster (its not overall update but its an update)

Try the things carmelo said, and maybe you switched off auto-updates or NBA today by accident in your settings? Can't figure out anything else that could go wrong..

WOW 2k is really slacking on the roster updates this year...

Has anyone else noticed that there is no player progression either? I don't like the direction 2k is taking this franchise..

Thanks god we have guys like Kova and Albys to do what 2K should have done in the begining...
