question about nba 2k13 virtual currency and modding

does anyone know or think that VIRTUAL CURRENCY in nba 2k13 is just their new way of saying skill points and does anyone know if the tools used in nba 2k12 for getting unlimited skill points and money in nba 2k12 might work in nba 2k13 to do the same i was just curious seeing as 2k13 is a few days away and it usually takes awhile to start getting new modding tools and such released
