Newbie Download Patch Questions

Hey guys, I have a few newbie questions. I'm sure these have been asked and answered, but I just want to be sure. I did look around, but if I could just get confirmation, I'd feel better before I start patching the game.

1) When I install something, I just download to the NBA2K folder?

2) If I install someone's roster updates, are cyberface/tattoo patches usually included?

3) When the game boots up, 2KSport's living rosters are uploaded. I would have to manually load someone's roster update?

4) If I download and install a cyberface and then I use someone's updated roster, what happens to the cyberface I installed? Does that still show up in the roster?

5) If I install a team, like the 1992 Dream Team, they wouldn't overwrite any existing teams. They would actually be added in addition to what I have?

6) I tried extracting files from WinZip to the NBA2K folder and I got this message:

Extracting to "C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\"
Use Path: yes Overlay Files: no
Extracting uh018.iff
Error: Access is denied.
Cannot create C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\uh018.iff; administrative privileges may be required

What do I do? I have Windows 7.

1. Most stuff goes in the main folder. However, saves goes in a folder under Application Data. More info can be found here.

2. Depends on the person making and compiling the update.

3. Yes.

4. I'm fairly certain that as long as no face IDs have been changed, it would work as normal.

5. Yes.

6. Does your Windows account have Administrator access?

The computer is mine. I'm the only one who uses it. I never had anything prevent me from doing anything b/c of "Administrator Access." What do I do to get it to accept the zip?

Try extracting the file somewhere else, like your Documents folder, then moving it to the game folder.
