Stuttering issue at certain times of game

I'm having a stuttering problem with NBA 2K12 and I don't understand why. Especially considering more demanding games run smooth with high details such as Mass Effect 3.

What makes the problem stranger is this happens at the same time every time. 8 minutes of the first quarter run smooth, the next 3 run with stuttering and the final minute is smooth again. This repeats every quarter, every game. I've ran the game with low details to high, same problem. I have vsync on and triple buffering because the screen tearing is terrible in this game. I've tried turning the AA off in game and forcing the Nvidia CP to force run them and the issue still happens. Also tried turning vsync off in the game and running through the CP, same results. Tried tinkering with the maximum pre-rendered maximum frames but the issue still happens. Played with mods, no mods, same issue.

Drivers updated. Been that way with the last version and the current one. I'm going to try that D3doverrider tonight. After that I'm out of ideas.

i think i'm experiencing the same issue. what i do is i alt+tab twice. it seems to fix the problem.

Not a driver problem. Been experiencing it right now. Made me play other games
