NETWORK ERROR AFTER TIP OFF!!!

When I play a game online everything runs normally intill the tip off and I also noticed that the courts have extra logo's on them in random area's of the court. As soon as the tip happens and someone gets the ball a few seconds after an error message comes up and says "Network error, game will not count" and I cant play anymore. I've tried about 5 or 6 times and the same thing happens every time. I have the new patch and I'm not sure if this is the cause or not but I haven't played at all online before the patch. Does anyone have any solutions or the same issues. Thanks in advance!!!

Seems to be a common problem, pre and post patch. The short answer is that online support in NBA 2K12 leaves much to be desired.

This is a sign of a sync issue between you and your opponent. There is something different in each of your games that is causing the network error. I remember because this happened in NBA Live before when I had a custom aiact installed and the game booted both players as soon as the ball was caught after the tipoff. If you have any mods, you might want to remove them and see if you still get the error.
