Issues with my PC veraion

Downloaded the PC version last night - Feb 22 2012 - and have no sound and the rosters wont update to current. Posted on the 2k site but have yet to hear from them is there something i can do to get the sound turned on? Also, having trouble with finding the right video sets to have premium perfotrmance on my laptop. It is a brand new laptop yet the game is super slow and again NO SOUND please help. How can i get rosters updated hate playing with Keith Bogans as my sg with the bulls. Thanks jburtyk
