Color editing request! Help!

Greetings guys! I have this question in mind for a very long time. I think there are many pro in this forum that can answer my question. Okay, let's get into it. Is editing color in NBA 2K12 possible?

I mean, let's take Lakers as an example.

Lakers' Team Color 1 is yellow, Team Color 2 is purple at Home court, Team Color 1 is purple, Team Color 2 is yellow at Away court right?

So, no matter in My Player mode or Quick Game mode, I want both Team Color be yellow, no matter it's Home court or Away Court, of course, accessories color only. All I'm talking about is to edit the accessories color only.

So, my question is, is there any program or method that can edit Lakers' accessories Team Color 1 & 2 to yellow? For example, I want my player wearing a yellow Small Band all time, without going to the "Edit Player" menu each time changing court.

yes, the REDitor will let you edit the colors of the teams but you need pay-for licenses to do so

I found the offsets of the color in the .ROS and .CMG file, and I replaced all color I wish to edit with their RGB code. But when the system loads the .ROS file and I manually load the .CMG file, a box poped up saying that the .ROS file and the My Player save file is corrupted. I wonder why? Please help! I have found the right offsets of the color and I'm sure I replaced with the right color code! I just replaced the second team color with the first team color! Thanks a lot!

when hex editing a roster, you need to remember to recalc the checksum at the beginning of the file

I edited the checksum, and the save didn't crash. But, the Team Color 2 is still purple... The purple is 552582, and the yellow is FDB827. I picked the .ROS file and hex edit it, I press "Find" and then type "552582". Then I found and replace all "552582" with "FDB827". And used the Crc32 program to calculate a new checksum, and type it before the 0001. Yeah, the game loaded it successfully, but nothing was changed. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

i dont know for sure since there are two sections in the roster for colors, team colors (scoreboard, menus) and uniform colors (gear)

so yea, its going to be trial and error for you, sorry.

Oh... You mean it's not possible to edit it until I'm willing to spend money on that tool? And help that ValC guy earn real money?

Man it's just hex editing. I have some experiences on it, but just don't know why it doesn't work...
