Configuring PS3 Controller / Dislike MotionJoy

So I saw all the videos on how to use it with the program motion joy. for some reason after playing for 40 min or so it just stops working. The controller is still blinking, but the analog sticks and sometimes the buttons aren't working even when I try re-calibrating it, my buttons don't work, it still gets recognized by the computer and nba2k12, the buttons just dont work. Any ideas or alternative ways to get it to work?

did you try configuring the controls in 2k12? or i guess it didn't work as well?
