Playcalling on PC

I press right on the D-Pad for the Quick Plays, but can't seem to press a button to get the icons over the player heads and call specific plays for them. Any advice?

u using 360 controller?
Press LB and then press the Alphabet over player's head then they all have shit load of plays to chose from

Not a 360 controller, it's a generic controller (Genius). But I never had any problems with 2K10 or 2K11. I can press a button to make a direct pass, though.

EDIT: Got it to work, I still don't know how. Downloaded a different PS2 icons set from the one I had before, but I'm not sure if that makes any difference.

You can only call plays when you're controlling the man with the ball.

Yes I know, I haven't played My Player yet.

try to configure your controller on controller setup,, maybe you forgot to configure the Dpad

Do somebody know how I can set up quick plays? In 2K11 I have isolation, pick&roll and pick&pop, but this year quick plays are different and these plays I can't find and use them.

like last year: D pad right -> different buttons
it's not called "quick post up" for example. instead it's called *player* post up with *player* beeing the name of your best post player.
