Can't get past the intro, some help needed badly

i bought the game, and every time i try to open it, the game freezes right when the nba disclaimer message appears(The one saying about the nba and it's contents), it freezes like for 4-5 secss then continues by fading out but again freeze and so goes on.

I run it with a quad amd athlon proccesor, 4 gb ram, ati radeon 5500 hd series pc, i have over 12 gig free in my hard disk, i tried disabling my antivirus but nothing, tried everything but still not success.


any ideas??? .
