coach mode setting?

hello guys...i'm new in this forum and also with editing stuffs...i just wanted to ask how to remove the word "coach mode setting" displayed in your screen when turning on the coach mode...what .iff should i look for..TIA

unfortunately, that dialog is created with text, so even if you could find the background (my guess would be overlay_static) it wouldnt help unless you could find where all the text dialogs are stored

i guess ill have to leave it there! need to try something else that can be done with photoshop there's so much to learn in this forum...i get to customize/modify my nba2k12 - thanks for the tutorials -

is it possible to remove a texture from the .iff - not just extract but totally remove it from the .iff file?

nope, but if you dont want the texture to show up, you could import a blank dds file (a file with no texture or anything, just transparent)

thanx jao..now i can get rid of the pole that is blocking my view when i get to change the camera to nosebleed!

oh, to take care of that I just use the "Rev Angle" to change the camera to the other side of the court

i already did try but there are still poles when it tried to rev the angle..changing it to press is fine...though id like using the cam hack by -maumau78- the msg cam for nosebleed if im not mistaken...seeing almost the entire court is just awesome..

jao i hope you understand that i'm a novice in editing stuff...just wondering how to make a transparent texture/dds file..coz everytime i edited a dds file from photoshop and change the whole thing with no image, picture, text, texture stuff like that still the texture appears - not likely the custom one...but with everything on gray most of the time...my method of changing the file to transparent is, make a new layer delete the custom one and if there is an alpha change the alpha into white with paint or brush...then save it dxt1 or dxt5...i asked mr. google yet i can't seem to find answers or maybe i just missed some...i can't take to much searching as of now coz were force to take overtime in work due holidays...hope you can help...

I dont use photoshop so I dont know how to do it with that program,

I use GIMP, which is similar though. all I have to do is press delete and it will "blank" out the entire texture. make sure you are saving your DDS file with mip maps.

I have a tutorial on DDS files and GIMP in the tutorials section, but I have no intention of adding photoshop to it.

i have gimp installed in my lappy already with dds extension...and im having trouble with the shortcuts...not so familiar though...guess have to spend much time to figure it out..tnx again n again jao!
