I wanna hear your opinions cuz i'm TORN, guys. From one side - most rookies don't affect their respective teams much anyway. From another - all those top 10 rookies look like they can have some major impact on their teams, for example Cavs. So, what do YOU think, guys?

no reason you can't start now and then start over when the rookies come out.

haha, yeah, but creating a player is a pain in the ass, especially if u try to make him look just like you XD

Wait for albys, or someone to make roster, of course it will be flawed because of non existent free agency this year, but it will be significantly better than vanilla one.

I'm hoping someone makes a "End of Season" roster or something like that. An idea to deal with players with expiring contracts is that potential players to be free agents to be in the free agency, while players who are almost a guarantee to maintain their teams to be in their teams' roster with some expected contract.
All the rookies in, with their respective contracts, and then the teams AI logic fills the remainder of roster slots with the FA players.

Jao is right. The mode is a completely different experience as a big man than as a guard. I started a My Player last night with a PG but I rushed through the creation process just to check out the additions and got sucked it.
Or just download a 2Kshare roster to come out. Or try create a legend.

I think those fake rookies can easely be replaced by the real ones.. i think they are the real ones with wrong names and faces

I'm waiting. Not only on the rookies, but the rosters, and everything else. My biggest regret last year was getting started early, and kicking myself throughout the rest of the year.

I don't understand. Why the regret? Why didn't you just start over when the rosters become available like what people say? I started over my 2k11 MyPlayer like 5 times because of roster updates and other reasons, and it was still hella fun. Though that might be because I play on the PC and we have Alec's trainer to eliminate the grinding for the ratings if we so choose. But XBox 360 2k11 had hex editing for that too, so...

I am waiting for the rookies, as well roster updates. Likely someone is going to create a shadow patch to improve the graphic and CF for the players. So for the time being, I'm sticking to my older 2k games until these things get put in place.

Thanks to all of you, guys. You persuaded me to wait up

Personally, i would rather start to familiarize the controls and gameplay.
But definitely do another one once the real season starts and we have the updated roster from our great patchers here.
