NBA 2K12 Release Date Thread

The first teaser for NBA 2K12 has revealed the game's release date for the North America. When the international release dates pop up, please let us know.

Guys i want to ask is there gonna be some difference between the US version and the EU version , and if there is can you tell me what is it ?!

We don't know as yet and might not know until the game was released. Last year there was an issue with court logos that apparently had something to do with international licensing (you can read up on that in the NBA 2K11 section) but I'd say for the most part there won't be any differences. All other features in NBA 2K11 were identical between the US and international versions.

2k10 had similar issues though, so we wont know until it's released, unless we can get Ronnie to spill some beans about it before release.

2k11 the menu was like 2k10 and the concole version was different

Speaking of gamestop, they have the PC version for $19.99 and amazon has it for 49.99.

Is this an error by gamestop or is that usually the price they sell it at?

I don't think so, they brought down the PC prices to about $20 probably to combat illegal downloads.

So I can expect to still find 2k12 at 19.99 in October when it releases, or do I have to buy it now in case they increase the price?

Based on the inquiries another poster made, it seems Gamestop will honour that price if you pre-order.

I'm in two minds whether to pre-order from Play.com or Amazon (UK). I hear that they often come a day early but knowing my luck there'll be some stupid post office issue and I'll be kept waiting.

There will be a difference between European and USA versions? I mean if I have European Xbox I can play American NTSC version?

No, you'll need the PAL version.
