Dirk Nowitzki

I cant seem score with Dirk Nowitzki in NBA 2K12. Every time I try to shoot it misses. I try his post fadeaways and it always bounces off the rim. Even when I put his close, medium and shoot in traffic ratings at 99 he still misses. Could someone give me tips on how to score with Nowitzki? Thanks.

go practise his shot release, i'm doing pretty good with him

Tried releasing the button early? I'm sure Dirk release point in 2k12 is releasing the button early.
