How do I get Brandon Roy with latest rosters?

Brandon Roy has disappeared from the game. I am using the most recent rosters....

I want to play Roy in Create a Legend mode but I cannot assign him to the Blazers. He isnt even on the free agents list. I know he is retired officially but is there any way I can get Roy to join the Blazers without going back to the rosters when the rookies werent even enabled yet?

load the roster in the free REDitor, find Roy, change playertype to 4, make sure isFA is set to 1, go in game, assign to team, CAL, have fun
