Editing TMM files

Mon May 14, 2012 10:08 am

I have a TMM file that I load, and want to make some changes to the jerseys and edits to the players.
But every time I exit the game and load it back up, the changes are back to the original.
How do I save changes made to a TMM file?
Thanks.

once you load it into a roster, make the changes, go back into association mode with that team, and create a new TMM file for it.

Thanks for the reply. I made the changes, but I don't have any Association files. I can create a new one, but the team isn't in the list of those to choose from.

make sure you choose to customize league, so you can replace an existing NBA team

Sorry for being a noob. I started a new Association, and turned Customized on, get to the screen where I can modify team, press space, the team name is red, then what?

then you use the arrow keys, or some other keys to change the team. I don't know the keyboard menu controls

Thanks so much. I've got another question though!
I've simulated a season with a custom team to add players from a custom draft class. However, after the draft in to the next season, I am unable to secure trades for the players I want. Trades are always declined.
I have been unsuccessful in creating my new customer team...
Is there an easy way to add players to a team?

there should be an association option to overrride any trade

I can get to that point, but any time I get the option to "force a (valid) trade", nothing happens.
I'm still stuck on the Trade screen, and I can't do anything else. I can only go back to the menu.
