CTD: Association Mode

Sat Apr 28, 2012 3:43 pm

I created two teams so that I may use them in my association mode. However, no matter what changes i make in reditor, it always CTDs whether its right before a game, right after a game, or even when i sim thru days to get to the next game.

Does anyone have any idea as to what this is, why it is and how to fix this?

im starting to get frustrated, as some of you already know, a lot of us enjoy creating and editing teams only to find these glitches that drives one mad LOL.

*ok im off my soap box now, but seriously, i hope its an easy fix that I am simply overlooking*

:)

Anyone who can please help me?

After further inspection into the association file. I noticed the custom teams had no schedule. in reditor i replaced the teams with the custom teams then reloaded. but their schedules still dont show up.

i scratch my head as i am now truly baffled.

You might have made an error there how about a fresh re-install and try it again?

ya, i tried that already to no avail... :(

I always feel like im missing something when i put a team together in reditor. then when i go into the association mode, its confirmed with the CTDs.

I just dont know what I am doing wrong.

How about just make it create-A-Team?

i think i figured out the problem...

If you add logo_wm.iff manually i believe the program thinks its just another logo file so it doesnt know which to choose while in association mode. if you overwrite another teams .iff files they seem to work fine since its in the programing.

I have tested this and it seems to support my theory, however if anyone else has the time or patience and double check for me i would greatly appreciate it.

I am trying to create an associate league of all created teams (high school) teams, i havent decided how to do it (create a team then replace - or - edit specific .iff files for each team).

if anyone else has done a similar conversion, please shed some light on what you did.

i would appreciate any feedback.
