NBA 2K12 PC Patch Out Now

NBA 2K11's patch for the PC came out on Feb 11th last year. I'm guessing it will be around that time...

about time they issued a statement about the PC patch.. hoping we get it in feb and not march!

It's with QA, huh? Last year the PC patch got approved by QA on November 30th, according to Ronnie. The patch was released on February 11th.

Just saying.

I wonder if it will fix the bug with centers' dunking causing players and the ball to disappear.

Was that fixed on the consoles?

I never saw it on the PS3 version. I only experienced it in the PC version, and then only with centers edited (via rededit) taller than the in-game max 7'6".

It's captured, and will be uploaded (video) some time this week.

It was not in earlier versions up to NBA 2K11.

There is no refresh roster option. Only reset roster, I believe.

That's the one he's referring to, minor mistake on his part.

We can be sure the only fixes that will be included are the ones that have been documented so far for the consoles. That means the early online and minor gameplay fixes, plus the list of fixes in the v1.04 update that came out in December.

What's wrong with that? The game only keeps the performance measure for the setting you are using. When you change it, you would have to run the benchmark again. The benchmark feature is broken, anyway. It doesn't calculate properly or something.

The only issues that will (presumably) be fixed are the ones already mentioned for the console updates:

Yeah but the thing is: Measure your Performance via benchmark, go to OA and start a game -> 15 FPS cause the game thinks you have forgotten your benchmark... without that fix, OA is unplayable for PC. and with that, the only feature, why i bought the game (online league playing) is broken...

has anyone notice the rim if u go to instant replay and zoom in .. it now becomes a 3d rim

Possibly. Again, there is no ETA at this time but we seem to be on track for a February release, same as last year. That hasn't officially been confirmed though and is merely speculation based on what has been said and what happened last year. Once again, the only fixes that will be included are the ones that have been received so far by the consoles.

well, a no "team stats" fix for me, will be useless ;>

Again, if it's not among the fixes already listed, don't count on it being addressed.

Whats Going on MATE!

In a nutshell, PC users are losing out again when it comes to the official patch. Presumably we'll get it eventually, but who knows when at this point.

$5-$10 iOS version is patched before the PC version. In past years the word was PC users shouldn't complain because the PC version is so cheap.

I've never bought into that. We're still paying customers, so I say we have every right to grumble when the support isn't there, even if the PC platform isn't a priority.

I'm not that bothered or surprised that the iOS version received that update first though. The PC has been receiving roster updates before this (which was the main point of that update) and a small technical fix is likely easier to push out for the iOS version, being that they only have to test across a few platforms and deal with one digital distribution service. Having said that, they sure are dragging their feet on the PC patch.
