Slow/Lag in menus and cutscenes, but practice mode is great

Hi NLSC,

I'm pretty new to PC gaming. I downloaded 2k12 from Steam today thinking it would work fine on my machine. It works, but there seems to be a fair amount of lag in the menus and during cutscenes in game. When I did the benchmark test it said I was getting 24 fps during gameplay. Then when I tried out the practice mode (freestyle) it seemed MUCH more smooth by comparison.

So I'm wondering whether it is just my machine's specs, or is it a simple fix I can do with some settings?

Here's some specs of my computer (tell me if I'm missing anything, I'm very new to this):

Windows 7 - 64 bit
Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q8300
ATI Radeon HD 4350

I'd like to try out some of these mods I'm seeing on here, they're pretty slick. Sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

Freestyle only has one player and no crowd, so there will be a definite fps boost there. Try running a blacktop game and see if it runs well. If it does (with a limited crowd), then try lowering the crowd setting to medium. If it doesn't help, then resort to player quality at medium.

YOu need a new video card badly thats smaller then most integrated sound cards
