Roster updates will come more frequently than they have in the past, Boenisch said, accounting for both the influx of rookie players and any changes in free agency or pre-season trades, which began on Wednesday. Instead of waiting until the final day before the regular season tip-off, Boenisch said the game will push roster updates as frequently as possible over the next three weeks. That kind of update comes totally through the 2K Sports server and isn't subject to the kind of review Microsoft or Sony has for a game patch or title update. A patch still is coming before Dec. 25, Boenisch said, but he held off on committing to a specific date.

As usual, nothing was mentioned. My guess is that the PC patch will experience similar delays to last year, which would mean a January/February release. That is just speculation though, there's not even a concrete date for the console patch just yet (just before Christmas, so at some point before the 25th assuming there are no delays with it).

Both true statements, I guess we'll see how everything plays out...

I don't think there's anyone around these parts that's guaranteed an answer. Even so, there's a tendency to flat out ignore questions they don't feel like answering, not even a "Sorry, can't say".

There is no way there is a guarantee, Ive been watching NBA TV like crazy and even they only have projected lineups which basically means that's
there guess so I am sure if NBA TV has nothing better than a good guess then 2K wont either, also rooting for Paul to go to NYC

If they are not going to release anything, it would be nice for them to let us know so we can continue our roster work oustide of 2k.

If only they restore the other blacktop modes from last year's game for the PC in the patch, then all will be well again between me and 2ksports (because they really care what I think of them and are currently feeling bad because I'm angry at them ).

I sure hope the trades and stuff get done before the season starts, so I don't need to worry about big trades making my Season obsolete...
